Original Artwork

Every original artwork I create begins long before the first brush touches the canvas. It usually starts with a feeling, something I’ve noticed in nature, a color combination that lingers, or a quiet moment that refuses to leave me. I sit with the idea, sketch loosely, and let the composition find its balance naturally. When I’m working on original wall art, I think about where it might live — above a mantel, in a hallway, or in a sunlit living room. The scale, movement, and texture all matter.

If it’s an original floral painting, I focus on softness and flow, allowing petals and light to guide the rhythm of the piece. I don’t rush the process. I let each layer settle, step back often, and refine until it feels complete.
